Inspiration: this young fallow deer came jumping towards me through the tall grass at full trot. This adorable image I illustrated in a small watercolor (below). Once close, I was captured by her beautiful big eyes and innocent look which I captured in this oil painting. The background is stylized to visually guide the focus to her magical eyes. (the small illustration has already been sold)
