Privacy policy

MarjoleinKruijt.nl (and the website aliases) respects the privacy of her visitors and customers. We do NOT sell information to other parties. Any collected information (p.e. by ordering) will stay private and will not be saved longer than necessary. In case you have questions about the Privacy Policy, don’t hesitate to contact us. The Marjolein Kruijt webshop uses the collected information of her customers to deliver these services:

• When you order, we receive your name, e-mailaddress, postal address and payment information to proceed your order.
• We store your information to keep you updated on your order and its delivery / tracking.
• No financial information (card details, etc.) is retained by us beyond the timescale necessary to process an individual transaction. Your buyers contact details, such as address, phone number, email are retained to process the transaction and for accounting records. Your invoice information will only be stored in the accounting records as long as the dutch law requires.

PAYMENT:
Our WordPress webshop uses the payment platform of Sisow and Paypal.  They process your name, address and payment information. Both parties are by law bound to the EU privacy policy and may not sell or use personal information for other than their service to us allows. Anonimous information may be used to upgrade their services and shared to other parties involved to process transactions. No financial information (card details, etc.) is retained for accounting records beyond the timescale necessary.

ART sale + commissions:
Your information (name,address, email, phone nr) is saved on an invoice and stored in our accounting records in the timescale the tax department by law determines. We will save your information in case of volgrecht (if applyable *resale art*) and to contact you in case of special news about your commissioned portrait (publication, etc) Your information will remain private.

NEWSLETTER / MAILINGLIST
We use Mailchimp. When you order through our webshop we do NOT add you automatically to our mailinglist. If you do wish to stay updated, add your emailadress to our mailinglist here. You are always free to unsubscribe, by using the link below in the newsletter. Or, you can ‘check’ the box during checkout in the webshop.
When you respond on a give-away -clicking behaviour- your information will not be shared or sold to others. The generated information by mailchimp will only be used to choose a winner and to see if topics are interesting enough or not for the readers. In case you win the monthly give-away, we will ask for your postal address to send you the gift. Only your name will be mentioned on the website, though shortened, to announce the winner. All other information will remain private and will not be used otherwise.

WEBSITE, HOSTING + security
We use WordPress as software for the webshop and use webhosting- and e-mailservices of xxl webhosting. Both parties transfer your personal information only in service of our website and won’t be used for their own purposes. They are allowed to collect ‘non personal’ meta information (IP address, webbrowser, type of pc/ios).

This site has a security SSL certificate. Shown as a ‘key lock’ in the browser bar. This protects any personal information you might share on this website.  We also use security plugins and a strong password policy.
